Viet Nam Ship Agents and Brokers Association – VISABA was founded by the permission on decree 50/KTN dated Janury 5th, 1994 of Viet Nam Government and was issued by a decision 944 – QĐ/TCCB – LĐ on June 25th,1994 signed by Minister of Ministry of Communication and Transport. At first General Congress on July 21st, 1994 in Ho Chi Minh City, an Executive Committee was selected consisting of :      1. Mr Pham Thiet Quat     Chairman      2. Mr Vo Phung Long                 Standing member Contents of Congress:      - Executive Committee adopted association charter      - Executive Committee assigned standing members obligations      - Executive Committee issued a resolution to map out association activities in this term After first General Congress, being fully agreed by Executive Committee, VISABA has joined in and became an ordinary member of the Federation Of National Association Of Ship Brokers and Agents (FONASBA).
